Ultrakill theory: hey there gang, fellow V1 enjoyer here, and I was thinking about Ultrakill here lately and had a theory pop into my mind. I am not sure how people take to theory shitposting here, but I wanted to drop it here anyways - anyhow, people discussed possibilities for the ending for the game and final boss (and final secret boss) for quite some time, right? Some people threw out Lucifer, some people threw out Gabriel (or, even more, Gabriel who will kill but when then comes back in the end as Fallen Angel through Lucifer by falling into Hell) and etc. I was thinking about Hell itself since it was kind of confirmed that thing is alive, right? And that is when it hit me: Gabriel (as Fallen Angel or otherwise) makes narrative sense as a final boss but, for the final secret one, do you think we will fight God himself? Let me elaborate: we know that God is probably dead, that Hell is alive, is evil, and that God created Hell but could not unmake it. What if, instead of fighting all of Hell (some people threw out the idea that the ending might contain both Hell and V1 into a never-ending battle) we fight God who committed suicide over the creation of Hell (which is ironic and fits with philosophical themes at play) and fell into it, fusing with itโthe corpse of God, or some shit.
