Started with Ulta January of 2019. I'm a curl & texture specialist as well as a vivid specialist. I was about to become a Master stylist, then COVID hit. I moved states, transferred stores, & built my clientele rather quickly. However our store still has a ton of no shows & same day cancelations for big appointments.

I am part time; 3 days one week & 4 the next. I have fibromyalgia, migraines, & other chronic illnesses that prevent me from working full time.

I just tested out of all the Master classes (again) & was asking my GM about when the promotion would happen. Well, in order to promote, they want me to bring in $1500 a week. Which means $500 days. On a really busy week, I bring in about $950-1100 and my schedule is packed full.

My frustration is that they have the same requirements to be a Master for part time stylists as they do full-time. Why would I push my body to do the work of someone full-time and not get any benefits? Why can't they have separate requirements for full vs part time? Even the 3 Master stylists I work with don't bring in $1500 a week.
