I made a post on here recently about a UC diagnosis. Well I misunderstood the doctor. He said proctitis only.
Now here where my frustration is. Colonoscopy and endoscopy 7/15. Inflammation in rectum and stomach, biopsies taken. Since then I’ve been miserable. Vegetables fuck me up, bloating, gas, stomach pain. I basically eat mashed potatoes, rice, and meat. I’ve had 3 mouth sores. Pain so bad I feel like I’m being stabbed and lasts hours. Pain with bowel movements and now nausea. Fatigue is kicking my ass.
I was told at the colonoscopy to start fiber 3 weeks after. Let me tell you, fiber wrecks me. I don’t like it lots of pain.
I told my G.I. all my symptoms this week. My bowel movements aren’t diarrhea but, are very soft. He ran a CT last week. Biopsies and CT all normal. He’s thinking I have pelvic floor issues causing the inflammation. Why the hell would I have all these other symptoms if it’s pelvic floor?! He’s wrong, I know it. I’m frustrated. He said not to bear down when I have a bowel movement, to “get up and just walk away “. Then recommend a fucking squatty potty and fiber tablets.
What the fuck is this shit?
Thanks for listening to me vent.
Edit: Heartburn is kicking my ass too.
