Hey everyone,
I’m in the process of being diagnosed with chronic colitis. I will be 29 next week. I have a history of pancreatic issues, bile duct issues, and I have cirrhosis. I’ve seen my GI and he’s done both an upper and lower scope of my tract. He biopsied up and down my colon and can find nothing. Get a CT scan sees colitis of my ascending colon every single time and I’m having pain where my ascending colon is. I know UC and Colitis are two different issues but I thought I’d post here to see if anyone at all has (or had) a similar issue that was able to be properly diagnosed as I’m literally sick after I eat anything. I have awful stomach pains and I’m running for the bathroom after 5 minutes of eating anything. It’s always loose stool and I’m frankly miserable. My GI doctor is going to do another scope of me and he says he’s going to biopsy all up and down my colon again. Otherwise he’s stumped as to why the CT can see colitis but he cannot once he gets in there. I’m so tired of having pain and not having any reasons as to what’s going on. If you have any experience with this please let me know and the outcome. Thank you!! I
