How can I help my team?

I started yesterday morning or maybe the night before. Just hit lv 25 and my warlock is 45k power. My team, who are all real life friends, are sitting between 18-25k. Why? The only money I've spent is on the Spring season pass which has given me the first 2 or 3 layers, so not a big buff and I've spent my starfish on skill pulls, and I think I bought the $10 pearl package. But that's it. So why am I so far ahead and how do I help them catch up?
