Im re-watching, and in this scene I have the same thought I did the first time. Betty is hot af here, and debatably the hottest in the room imo. Of course we know the underlying commentary about society and weight = beauty, but thats part of what I love about seeing this scene now. In a world where curves are coveted again, I know Betty would be thriving. And as a curvy woman who was in middle school when this show originally aired, a big middle finger to early 2000s beauty standards.
