So I have the UNVR 4-bay server in my house and running 3x 8TB hard drives that come through the Unifi store. My question is that can I add any 8TB compatible hard drive in the 4th (vacant) bay to increase my storage pool or should I attempt to find the 8TB hard drive from a 3rd party. I would get it from Unifi directly but at the time of this post, they are sold out.

2nd question, could I add a drive that is bigger then 8tb in the 4th bay? What complications would I introduce if I got like a 12GB hard drive in bay 4 and the rest of the other hard drives are 8tb?
