Scenario: Multi-acre private property with two exterior camera poles. Area with a high probability of lightning strikes. Currently following SOME UL LPS best practices, which include:
- 20kA inline surge arrests near the external device and at the point of ingress into the structure.
For those with experience (not the ones Googling to provide me the first-page answer they found, thanks), what ethernet, coax SPDs have you had success with?
Also, what additional lightning protection, if any, did you deploy aside from Surge Protection Devices?
