Hello reddit,
I need some help on the airFiber, airMAX. I have a project for a client that wants to get wifi from his office to a private park. I'm planning on using Ubiquiti since it's cheaper compared to other brands, but I've never done a project like this, the distances are very long between the corporate office, the remote office and the park. I need some help on choosing the correct equipment I notice on the airFiber Radios there are 4 antennas looking things and then 3 radios boxes (boxes with connectors on top) and then at the bottom there are airFiber Antennas
Then we have the LTU I have no idea what it is, and at the bottom there are antennas.
Lastly there is airMAX, I have no idea what the CPE is don't know how to connect the AP and also no idea with the antennas lol
I've done P2P projects but nothing at a super long distance, basically I need a way to connect the corporate office to the water tower, and then from the water tower there needs to be 2 connections; one to the remote office and the other to the parks, the remote office is super short and have taken care of that, but the one to the park is troublesome I'm planning on using airFiber 24, but do i also need to buy the box looking things, and what kind of antenna could I use on the park side, then also at the park side there are sections that requires WiFi I was gonna use a Rocket M3 but they're old and don't know what kind of AP could cover a good part of the park. Any help and/or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
