I'm having a local connection issue. Trying to connect via ANSYS RSM config utility and receiving socket exception timeout error.

Post Body

Hey y'all,

So I've got an issue getting remote simulation submission over the local network (hopefully via VPN in the future will work too) set up.

Long story short, I had had it working for a bit, then I had to address an issue with the network hardware and ever since, I have been unable to connect to the remote machine via RSM. The connection gets caught up at some internal routing IP on port 9201 (17.18.35.177:9201 as of this afternoon). I feel like it must be something up with my ubiquiti unifi hardware. I've got a switch and a USG Pro 4. The client and host machines are both connected via the same Switch.

I'm just wondering if the simplest solution may be to do a factory reset on the switch and hope for the best?
