I currently have a Nano-HD inside my house, and two Lite APs will be here tomorrow (along with a UDM-Pro and USW-16-POE). I'm in coastal LA in a fairly dense environment. Within a very short distance (<100 meters) there are several underprivileged families and they do not have home Internet access. I'd like to place an AP somewhere on the corner of the house (inside or out; ideally I'd want to keep my options open as far as indoor/outdoor) so that they can get online. Their homes are line of sight but obviously there's their home walls to contend with. They do have a small outside community courtyard they could connect from, but ideally it'd penetrate their walls with acceptable reception (am I dreaming?).
I have a 500/500 FiOS connection, and I may ask them to boost it to 1G for this purpose.
My instinct at first was to get a Flex HD but the more I look at their "high density" APs the more confused I get.
Any recommendations? Thank you!
