Alternative ways to reset AP AC PRO
Post Body

TL;DR - is there a way to reset an AP AC PRO without physically pressing the reset button?

First off, I am an idiot so please feel free to mock. My network is two AP AC PROs connected to a Netgear 24 port PoE Switch linked to a controller running on a Windows server.

Except I blanked the server (due to an unrelated problem) and like an idiot it turns out I don't have any backups of the controller software. I installed a fresh copy of the controller software but I have no idea what "key" or password was used when connecting the APs to the original controller so I can't adopt the APs.

I am aware that I can press a tiny button on the back of the APs to reset them and reconfigure my network (and I'm willing to do the reconfiguration) but my problem is that one of the APs is in a crawl space at the back of my loft/attic and I am physically too tall and wide to get into the crawl space. My installer was a lot smaller than me!

Before I enlist a small friend to crawl up there and press the button, is there another way to reset an AP AC PRO? (For example, on the ruckus kit we use at work you can power cycle an AP twice rapidly to trigger a reset which I could do since the switch is accessible).

Thanks for any help!

Edit: I managed to find the password in the end, but the PoE injector and SSH ideas could have saved me otherwise (if I'd had a different model for AP, anyway).
