I signed up for a reservation via the opportunities tab for $15.36. I was online at 10 am & the reservation was for 12 pm. I am aware of what happens when I miss the logon time—I’ve done it. That’s not what happened here. I showed up at the location at 11:30 am. And waited for the prompt to come on the app (since it usually shows up early). Nothing. Then at 11:37 am I got a message that said I was too far from the pickup location. That was such a bs lie! It’s “only” $15.36, I understand but it’s the principle. I believe we are being misclassified when we accept reservations since we are expected to be at a certain place at a certain time—like a good old fashioned scheduled shift. I’m in California in case that info is needed to get some help from whomever may reply. Thanks in advance.
