My first order today was a college student who legitimately wanted a thing of clam chowder picked up from a restaurant that was a mile away from the college. It was a base pay ride and didn’t tip at all.
A few hours later, I got a $31 order for 4.4 miles. It was double order. I picked it up and drove to Wendy’s to find that they are having system issues and somebody already picked up that first order. I go to my second order and I picked that up then head to the other college here in waltham.
The college student put the wrong building on his initial address. He sent a text wanted me to take it down to a different area, which I was totally OK with, I’ve lived in Waltham my whole life, and I haven’t had so much trouble in finding a building. This is a person with a pin required I messaged and I waited eight minutes. I gave him a additional five. So I can try to find the person then I called Uber eats support. I explained my situation and what’s going on. I also mention that I went the extra mile to drive to the correct building in the college campus. Uber eats tried to contact this customer and wasn’t answered, so they canceled the order, leaving me with a bag of food….
Anywho, I wasted my time and got compensated shit on both ends
Sorry, just a rant
