My order was assigned to a robot but I am currently disabled (literally the reason why I use uber eats) and need the food to come to my door.
I was looking on the “help” section for how to change it to a human delivery person but didn’t see anything so called support but basically at this point the order was already in the robot and support told me there’s nothing more they could do.
When do they tell you it’s in a robot and not a person? The supervisor said they show it before you order but I was only notified through the app after I placed the order??
No option to refund/reorder. So now I have no food and am out $25
I’m just tired and hungry.
Is there a way in the app to make my preferences no robots?
