The WORST! One and done. I can't believe what a shit experience I just had just trying to order from Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips.

For the record, I ordered through Postmates but all the customer service only acknowledged Ubereats.

We ordered from Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips in midtown NYC with no issue online.

I get a call about 40 minutes later from an obviously irate delivery person with limited English. The gist being "WHERE ARE YOU?! I DON'T KNOW. I'M HERE WHAT IS THIS? WHERE IS MY MONEY FOR THIS? I SHOULD BE PAID!"

Uh yeah, bro... what?

"Are you downstairs? Are you at the right address?" As I give the details of the correct address.

"THIS IS NONSENSE I SHOULD BE PAID BECAUSE..." rant continues

"Dude, where are you?"

[Excited angry yelling continues]

I call customer service, which was not as easy to find as it should be.

A guy answers and tells me that the address they have on file for the order is not my home address, but some random address I've never heard.

Well.... 15 minutes later or so, it comes to my attention that the geniuses of Postmates / Uber Eats have somehow posted the address of the actual restaurant I ordered from as the delivery address.

So, let's get this straight. A delivery guy picks up food from a restaurant, then circles the block looking for a delivery spot that is... the actual restaurant.

The customer service fellow is stonewalling me as though I have made a mistake by putting in the wrong address. Are you serious? Would anyone in their right mind put in the address of the damn restaurant they are ordering from?!

I ask to speak with a manager. They say "Is there anything else I can help you with?". This gets an appropriate "Obviously not", and I am swiftly hung up on.

Nicely done, company.

I call back and immediately ask the first rep for a manager.

I get one and eventually support my case enough that they offer me a $20 credit, and suggest I somehow give feedback for the prior customer service rep and harassing delivery guy through the app, which I don't see any option for after the fact.

Anyway, I can't imagine risking the time and effort to use this service again. A completely botched job. A true delivery nightmare, rather than a kitchen nightmare.
