Why can drivers cancel the order when they are already at the restaurant?

Ordered lunch about 25 mins before i went on my lunch break, a driver wasnt found until I actually went on break, and once he got there, it just immediately said “oops looking for another driver” and now ive got 10 minutes left of my lunch break.
