Prop 22 explained
Post Body

Let’s say I am out for 4 hours.

With about 1hr of time I spent eating and sitting around having a smoke.

The other three hours I spend on pick up or delivery. (Not just logged into the app)

If the orders I did in the 3 hours amount to less than 1.2 of the local minimum wage, I will be paid up to that amount; about 17.5 in most areas.Only base pay is considered.(some counties/cities have different minimums but most of the time that is what it is.)

The money I get, does not include our tips, nor the .30 cents a mile reimbursement.

So anytime someone who lives in california says you should only take good orders is either in a great market that always breaks minimum, or they don’t understand the advantages of the law.
