UberEats addresses wrong
Post Body

So recently I am having an issue where the address that UberEats is giving me in the app for delivery is incorrect. The customers say that they’re putting the correct address when they order but it is not matching the address I’m seeing in my app.

For example, the other night I had a delivery and the app said “912 street name” and I leave the order at the door. I triple checked that the house number matched the number in the house and the gps marker was also on the house that I was at. As I’m driving away I get a call from the customer and she says she can’t find the order, so I asked her if it was “912 street name” and she said that is was 910 not 912. Luckily I was close enough to just turn around and move it over to the correct house. Another instance, a customer texted me and told me I was at the wrong house so I called them. I asked “is your address 2240 street name?” I’m reading it straight from the app as I’m asking him. He says no it’s 2280. These are only a couple examples, it’s seems to be happening more and more. Today a customer called after I dropped off his order to cuss me out for “stealing his food” but I left it at the address in the app.

This obviously causes confusion and for orders to be delivered to the wrong place. I’ve decided I’ll just text customers as I’m leaving the restaurants to have them confirm the address for me since they always seem to be in the right neighborhood, just the wrong house. And screenshot the addresses in case anyone tries to say I stole their food again. I wanted to know if this was happening to anyone else?
