Anyone done an "App Tear Down" before?

I'm doing an "App Tear Down" as part of the interview coming up next week. It sounds like app critique but more elaborated, especially since I'm given 45 minutes to do that. It also seems like a concept borrowed from PM interviews but I can't find any resources for designer interviews.
