How bad is the timing for applying at the moment?

Iām looking for a job as a mid level UX designer and I see some job offers on LinkedIn with almost 800 applicants! There are also significantly less offers than usual, plus no recruiters reaching out as they used to.
Edit: thanks for the tips and the pep talks! This sub is the best always giving great advice and motivation speech.
