What You Need to Register to Vote in Wisconsin on Election Day!

Post Body

It’s too late to register online or by mail, but you can still register to vote on Election Day at your polling place. Here’s what you’ll need to bring:

1. Proof of Residence: A document showing your current address in Wisconsin, such as a Wisconsin driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, lease, or a government-issued document.

2. Photo ID: A valid photo ID to confirm your identity, such as a Wisconsin driver’s license, U.S. passport, military ID, or a student ID with proof of enrollment.

Note: If your Wisconsin driver’s license has your current address, it can serve as both proof of residence and photo ID. If the address on your license is outdated, you’ll need a separate proof of residence document.

Can’t wait until Election Day? You can also register in person before Election Day at your municipal clerk’s office, or other common locations like the DMV, public libraries, or city hall.
