Idk if this is common, or what not, but I got waitlisted at UVA with a 2.5 GPA from my local CC.
It’s gone up a bit now with spring grades in but regardless. Has this happened to anyone before? I was SURE I’d get flat out rejected. I wasn’t even going to apply. Admissions is weird lol. However, I am very grateful and almost flattered they’d even consider my credentials. Maybe they felt sorry for me and did it out of courtesy? Lol 🤷♂️
I don’t expect to come off the WL. But we’ll see. Anyone have any weird low gpa success stories/know of anyone in similar situations?
**(I know 2.5 is hardly eligible for UVA) but I’m happy and proud 🥲
