Post Body

Hi everyone, I was recently admitted to the UVA CAS as a sophomore transfer student. At my current university, I had taken equivalent of CS111x and CS2010 if I recall correctly, intro to programming as well as object oriented programming and data structures. Also, I had transferred 23 credits via AP. I’m interested in Mcintire school of commerce, but after looking at the recruitment of both Econ at CAS and Mcintire, I think I’m better of with doing BA in CS with a dual major in Econ as well in another 2 years. My reason for doing so is that I’ll save around 60 grand in tuition by doing that and would only have to spend another 120 grand to graduate instead of another 60 grand if I were to graduate from my previous school - ASU. I wanted to ask if doing BA in CS and BA in Econ is possible in another 4 terms given my situation. If yes, can you guys please help me out with it. Also, I took AP macroeconomics and I’m thinking of giving intro to microeconomics placement test to get ahead in Econ major map.

All responses are appreciated
