I applied RD and I am still waiting on my financial aid package. I emailed them and they said it would come in within 5 weeks of 3/26. 5 weeks from 3/26 is April 30th (the day before commitment day). I told them that I cannot just commit blindly without seeing my finnaid. And they responded with. “Unfortunately, we understand that without the financial aid package, some students will have a difficult decision to make at their Admissions deadline. We can not guarantee that you will have your financial aid package prior to your Admissions deadline.” Like what am I supposed to do? If anyone has any tips pls lmk. I want my fin aid to come back soon so I can make a good choice on schools.

UPDATE: They gave me no money and UVA is now 70k😭. I am going to appeal.
