I have taken or will be taking all of the offered statistics classes for next fall, and need one more elective to graduate next fall, am I allowed to sign up for graduate level courses?

I need one more data analysis elective, but all of the classes that are offered through the stats department next semester are classes I have already taken or already on my list to take, it seems as though we dont offer many classes next semester for whatever reason. If I can’t use a graduate level course, can I use research to fuffill this requirement?
