So I’m looking at adding a utv to my collection. I really like the price point of the new crew cab 570 ranger. I was quoted 22500 for the premium unit with a set of tracks to go with it. Primary usage will be ice fishing (hence the tracks), hunting, and trail riding with my wife and two young boys. Right now I have 2 older sportsmans. Ones a 400 and the other is a 500. Am I going to thoroughly enjoy the 570 or should I think about pony up some more cash and go with the 1000? I’m no speed demon, I got those days out of my system with street bikes and snowmobiles. But I want to be able to enjoy cruising the trails at 20-30mph and still have a bit of power left over if I need it. So any opinions on the 570 engine in a Ranger? Also how capable are tracked utv’s in snow? Will it be able to handle 2-3ft of snow on a lake?
