UPDATE: I have sent my strongly worded email, if you are living at the block and have experienced the same grievances as below and in the comments, please email the block at ([email protected]) about your troubles so we can get them to pay attention to it and do something. Or if you work there, please talk to your higher ups and managers ty. (Please! i want to eat and watch youtube on my phone again)

Pertaining to any and all residents currently living at the block apartments (and maybe all American Campus owned apartments? if yall have also switched to the “Velocity” wifi provider),

How has the wifi been?

because for me at 25th, the wifi doesn’t show up 90% of the time, and when it does, it will take 1 minute or longer to connect (if it even does at all) and then it doesn’t even provide a connection (no internet). The only “usable” network is the literal GUEST network, and it’s at snail speeds.

I don’t know if this is for everyone, but at least my whole apartment has this problem (3 other roommates roommates partner and THEIR roommates 2 doors down)

Guest network also only shows up if i’m sitting on the toilet or a specific spot on my desk.

Only grace is that ethernet works fine, though much slower than campusnet that we switched from. is the company skimping on the wifi?

2 networks (technically 3 i guess) with the same password for what id guess is over 100 people with multiple devices per person is wild
