I bought something from France on 10/30, that left the country of origin on 10/31. I asked someone else in another subreddit who’d bought the same thing from the same manufacturer what his lead time was and he said from order to delivery around 10 days. However it’s been 10 days for me, and I’ve not gotten any update either on the US side or French side for 10 days.

I put the tracking number (#EY344048929FR) from the French postal company into the usps site, and got the same info from the French side, which was that it left France on 10/31

Is it normal for there to be a 10 or so day gap from leaving country of origin to even having an update as to what port or city this package is in?

I’m worried this thing will just be lost in limbo and I’ll never get it.

I don’t get a lot of international packages so idk how this typically works.

Any advice, i appreciate in advance!
