Print out a stack of placards. Placards are good for 24 hours. Question is.... 24 hours from the date they are printed OR 24 hours from the time they were activated scanned, closed and staged? It's my belief that it is once they've been scanned. Example: the one and only trailer requiring placards for 100% of its load. This trailer is complete. Why would it be told that you should continue to use placards for that date specific for that only trailer. If by chance one or two pallets pre scanned for that trailer, didn't fit and remains waiting for next trip. Therefore, the 24 hours comes into effect. Why would management think it's OK to continue scanning placards for the next day trailer, stating that the unscanned placards are good for 24 hours. My opinion: Wrong.. Don't enable laziness, print new placards for the next day trailer. Any true and accurate clarification would be appreciated. No more opinions.. The real guidelines for the placards please.. 👍
