So I'm a CCA, been working for only 5 months and maybe carrying for 4-4 1/2 months and this morning got sent to a station to help out that I rarely go to. So I get parts of 2 routes. First route is "2.5hrs" and second is 1hr. The first route had 15 SPRs in a tray and about 30 or so packages outside of that. As it turns out, i was about 3hrs into my first route, the 2.5hr one, and still and hour or so left when a family emergency popped up. I was able to leave to take care of it but when I returned to the station, the supervisor started harassing me about how long that was taking me and it was given only 3.5hrs worth of work and still wasnt finished. Also that he had ridden those routes himself too... I tried hard and there were MBU boxes that I could get packages into because they were used or no key, houses I had to drop off at the door, mind you this is a route i have never been on or done myself. Plus, nothing was really sorted when I loaded the mail into the cart myself then had to load truck 30 packages so I knew when and where they went. What has anyone done about being disrespected and being told theres no excuse for something like that when you yourself feels that you got given more than their alotted time and you were trying your hardest?
