So yesterday I got to work at 10 am and they didnt have my route ready so they gave me 1.5 hours of a regulars route. Then I was to come back and do my route. By the time I got the route loaded up in the truck and got out on the road it was after 11. Then by the time I got back and loaded up my route and got back out it was about 2 pm on a 6 hour route but it was 4 heavy trays worth. Needed help with the last 7 swings 27 in total. Past 6 im working in the dark mind you. so basically 1/3 of my route was scheduled in the dark.
So today my boss pulls the same shit and says I better run today and be back by 6:45. Knowing I wont get out till about 11 again. Is this dude for real? This clown wants me to do 7.5 hours of work in 7 hours and 45 minutes? No drive time back and forth? No breaks? No lunch? He wants me to run? That shit doesnt sound very safe to me.
Is this a grievance?
Something else fishy too. The regular always has a cca do this portion of his route. He tried to give me 20 bucks and I said no I cant except that and then he just left it on my truck and walked away. What kind of crap is that? Right in front of a new supervisor too.
Also I passed my 90 days like a month ago. Not worried about getting fired or anything like that.
