This has happened to me twice. First on my previous route I had a 91 year old lady who lived alone fall and break her wrists they refused the hardship I delivered to her door till she recovered.
Now om a new route been here since September of last year and I have a woman who has MS and she is elderly, I explained the process and she went ahead with it. Today she told me that she went to the post office and they just flat out said no both my supervisor and my post master.
Can I fight this? Maybe call the union? There's a customer on a route that has a hardship because she is "scared" to cross the street to her box. And had a psych letter...how is my customers physical disability not eligible. I'd appreciate any feed back I'm still delivering to her door Idc but I want this to be fixed it isn't right at all
