I applied for three laborer custodial positions. Two are at the same location. The thing is the place I have an interview for is out of the way from me. I don't have a car and would be using public transit. It would be an hour to hour and a half commute. The other location, where the other two openings are, is in a very convenient place. I can be there in 5-10 minutes. I'm confident I can get hired since I got 96.4 on the 916. My concern is if I get an offer and accept it at the far away location will that cancel out my other applications? Or could I still interview for the closer location and accept a job offer even if I'm already hired? I don't want to not go to the interview seeing how long the hiring process takes, and it sounds like custodian is a very sought after job. I already missed out on a previous opportunity because I misread an email about calling to confirm that I was attending an interview. I really want this job so I'm willing to deal with the commute if I have to. I just want to know what my possible options are. Thank you!
