hello and thanks ahead for your help. I was supposed to go to MEPS today to swear in but I ran into some confusion about MOS’ I will be qualified for. I wasn’t told this initially but apparently because of some of the waivers I needed for minor crimes when I was younger I am not allowed to take certain entry level jobs with certain security clearance. Any one here on the sub familiar with this policy and if there is a way my recruiters can get around it? I got a decent asvab score but it seems like my options are much more restricted than I originally thought after my recruiters showed me the jobs I can actually get with my waivers.

my recruiter said he would check this out but I just wanted to see if anyone was familiar so I don’t get my hopes up
