Im a new-ish Sgt, I got selected to go to my advanced school in August but didn’t know about it until late November because my command took me to an exercise. This course has intense prerequisite coursework that took up a lot of my days at work. And I was left with RBE for a deployment to go to this school. When I finally got my funding letter from my S3 and submitted it, there were issues I had to fix, and my command’s S1 was quarantined with Covid when I submitted my paperwork 3 weeks before my report date. Now I’m stuck in a loop between my command, CWT-SATO, and TECOM all needing something from one another to approve their respective parts to get me to my course on time. I already missed my first flight because my unit hadn’t authorized payment of my ticket. The best part is, I just got a call from my shop chief saying that if I make him look like a dummy by not making it to this course he’s gonna ruin my FitRep. This is literally my first fucking FitRep and first advanced school.

Edit: Now on set number 5 of cancelled flights, this shit is getting more retarded every hour.

Edit 2: Just went and bought my ticket. TECOM can suck my nuts and have fun doing my travel voucher. Thanks for all the advice bois, good to know theres Marines out there with whatever knowledge is sought out.

TLDR; My command is threatening to burn me for their incompetence and failure to take action. Is this worthy of an IG complaint? And how do I do that if this is worthy of that.
