I'm in the process of enlisting, and would like to go for 3521, basically a regular mechanic, as far as I understand. I went to Automotive tech school and have ASEs. I've been working in the industry for a few years. I know most people I talk to suggest going for aviation mechanics instead. I don't have a problem with that and wouldn't mind it at all, but what i would prefer is to work on trucks and other such ground equipment. If anyone here could provide any insight onto this MOS, any similar MOS, any reasons why or why not to go for it, or even info about aviation mechanics, I would much appreciate.
Thanks Marines
