Looking for a World War II poster
Post Body

Hey everyone,

Not sure if this is the correct sub-reddit to post in, but I'm hoping maybe someone can help me out. In my U.S. History class in high school (a decade ago now) we had a few classes during our World War II unit where we showed and discussed famous U.S. propaganda posters, such as the famous "We Can Do It". One of the posters shown featured a soldier with a rifle, and the text read "Polishing my gun, thinking of you". Now this is amusing for obvious reasons, and I've wanted to locate an image or re-print for years to give to a friend of mine for his birthday - I know he'd appreciate it. However, I can't find anything about this poster anywhere. I wish I could give more info, but that's really all I can recall. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about and can even locate an image of this thing, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
