Hello everyone! I applied for my n-400 recently and want to keep almost an update style post on my experience with the process.

I’ve had my green card since 94-95 and just recently decided to apply for my citizenship.

I would love to hear anyone’s experience from who applied in Connecticut for theirs.

Timeline:

6/22/21 - fill out online application. Estimated time of until case decision 15 months.

6/23/21 - receive copy of payment in mail.

6/29/21 - checked online to see if there was any update. The estimated case decision time got bumped to 16 months. 😑

6/30/21 - Estimated case decision time bumped down to 15 months

7/24/21 - Biometrics appointment scheduled notice received.

8/18/21 - Biometrics done at local field office. In and out within 30-45 mins. Staff was quite nice and friendly 😀.

11/16/21 - Estimate wait time til decision on my case 11 months.

5/02/2022 - Interview was scheduled no date for e actual interview shown online. Estimated wait time 12 months again.
