Hi, I'm an Egyptian married to my American wife, who currently lives in the US. We lived together for about 6 months in Egypt, and our marriage is only legalized in Egypt.
We didn't apply for a spouse visa because she went back to work, and I need to get a degree that will open up better opportunities for me in the future to support us in the US.
I have a B.A. in English and Translation. Do you think I should pursue a Master's in my major as a good reason for the consular officer to accept my visa? Or is it okay to change my career and apply for another major without decreasing my chances of getting the F1 visa?
Another question: Is it easy to apply for AOS once I reunite with my wife and apply for a spouse visa and what is the time frame for a GC?
I appreciate any answers 🙏🏻
