Green Card Nurse and PhD

Post Body

Hello I am an international student without a green card. I am currently on an F1 visa and I have a few questions for you. My ultimate goal is to go to med school but most of them donโ€™t accept non green card holders. Firstly, I want to ask you what do you think is better. I am thinking about changing my major to nursing and becoming a practicing nurse until I get my green card and then applying to medical school or the other thing Iโ€™m thinking about is to do my math major as I currently am doing and do a PhD in neuro science so that then I can get my green card and apply to medical school afterwards. Which one do you think is better? Would a PhD or a Registered Nurse give me my green card the fastest?

Thanks
