Approval Timeline for I-765 under (c11) Parolee.

I filed for my dad work permit online with his approved Parole In Place from our field office. His i-94.

His military parole in place was approved with i-94 on December 1, 2023

We filed on December 12, 2023 for his work permit and with the receipt notice we also got a notice of Biometrics Reuse from his fingerprints they took in October 2023 for his Parole In Place. So yay on that!

After the receipt, it was radio silent for 2 months… (Typical USCIS)

We checked every week on the USCIS tracker for updates and nothing.

On February 12,2024 We got the approval letter from USCIS for his work permit and we also got his Social Security in the mail at the same time.

(USCIS tracker still showed that receipt was send and nothing else)

Today, February 17, 2024. Case finally updated to “Card was produced” and now we wait for it in the mail.

Work permit was around 2 months wait time!
