Post Body

Hi everyone,

Recent addition to this sub here. I am wondering if anyone could provide insights about my chances for a successful EB1 A greencard application.

My profile:

  • PhD in Immunology/ cancer biology from a reputed US University.
  • 12 publications, 15 conference proceedings, 4 first author journal articles, 700 total citations
  • 1 US patent
  • 20 reviews
  • A grant proposal based on my work was awarded the President Biden cancer Moonshot grant, but it was granted to my ex-PI so not sure this counts
  • Have been working in a non-research based industry position for the last 3 years, so no publications resulting from my work

I am worried that being in an non-academic/ active research position may hinder my chances of a successful application.

I am wondering if anyone could share their experience, and drop any lawyer recommendations for a case such as mine.

Thank you in advance!

You might have a chance for EB1A. However, the lack of recent publications might pose a challenge. You will need to link your recent work with your earlier academic research to make your case compelling. You can contact Wegreened for a free case evaluation. If they decide to help you, they'll tell you what to do next. I have 14 papers and 200 citations, and they helped me get the EB1A approval without RFE. Best of luck to you!
