i live in new jersey and i am an undocumented immigrant. i came to the us from mexico when i was 4 years old in 1999. i am now 28 and married to a us citizen and we have a child who is 4 years old and also a citizen. i applied for DACA (differed action for childhood arrivals) in 2012 and was accepted. i received a social security number and a work permit valid for 2 years and would have to be renewed every 2 years. in 2018 i was stupid and made the horrible decision to drink and drive. i was found guilty and got my first dui. i spoke to an attorney who advised me to not apply for my renewal of DACA. he told me i would get denied and possibly have an order of deportation. i went on living with the regret of my decisions and unfortunately got a second dui in 2022. i have no other criminal record or drug charges or felonies besides my two duis and traffic tickets that were taken care of. it’s very hard to find jobs in new jersey since i have no work permit anymore. besides mcdonald’s or a wendy’s. can my wife still petition for me even though i have two duis. someone please provide me with info or references ! i am also looking for an great reputable attorney . thank you
