Finally got my US Passport ; Has the wrong place of birth
Post Body

Hi Guys . So i received my citizenship on Dec 20 and went straight to get my passport application filed with the post office in Dec 22 . Its not Jan 13 and my passport finally arrived (felt really fast tbh(. Im so happy but then I realized my place of birth says California USA. I was born in Colombia, and it was clearly written on my application.

Anyone have any idea how this happens and what I can do to correct it?I know there is a form but its asking for proof. The problem is my birth certificate has my old name , and my passport has my new name. I changed my name for my citizenship process.

update 03.24.23 - looks like a tracking number was uploaded to the .gov site and supposedly should have my passport back on monday.
