How much will my gpa from my previous studies effect my employability

When I first started at UQ in 2016 I complete one semester of a bachelor of science and I did extremely poorly (2.5GPA). I then left university for a couple years and now Iām in my second year of a commerce degree and Im preforming pretty good with a 6.0GPA.
Iām wondering how much will my poor results from my bachelor of science effect my employability later on in life? Thanks
