Hey, guys! I'm currently a senior at the University of Washington in the USA and im so hyped to be coming to your school and Australia. From march to november of 2016. I am majoring in Environmental Science and Resource Management with an emphasis in Wildlife Conservation (terribly long name for a major lol).
I have a few questions about the UQ and I hope you can take some time to answer them :)
How is the wildlife program here? I know that there's a research lab about koalas? That's pretty cool.
How do I explore Australia? It's a huge island and well I want to make the most out of my Australian experience. I'm interested in camping, hiking, scuba diving.
How are the clubs? School clubs. Anything to get me to explore. Im not interested in political clubs haha. I hear there's this big deal that happened here?
Dorms good here? Any recommendations? Or apartments. Student living.
Food. How is the food here? Any cool joints for me to check out? I'm not picky. ... I want to try out vetemite too lol.
What do you guys do for fun around here?
Any noob friendly tips? Anything I should be aware of?
Kangaroos and wallabies! Me being an animal person, I wanna study the crap out of the animals here. Main reason why I came here actually lol. Where are they? On the streets? Lol
Overall thanks for reading my wall. Still hyped up for this trip. Im looking forward to seeing you guys
