Vacation option day pay rate significantly lower than base
Post Body

Hey all, i’m about two years into being a driver and I’m very confused about the option day vacation week. I’m taking two weeks of vacation next week, one week being my vacation week and the next being 5 days of option days. I’m taking the weeks back to back. I’ve already been paid for the weeks in advance but the paychecks don’t add up or make any sense. Why are option days payed out at a significantly lower rate than my hourly rate? I currently make $31.50 hourly and was paid my vacation week paycheck via that rate, but my option day paycheck is showing $24.75 for 40 hours. Is this a mistake that I should show my Stewart immediately or are options days paid out at a lower rate? Last year my option days were paid out at my normal rate so I’m quite confused why this is happening. Thank you all!
