Anyone else embarrassed to deliver busted up packages?

Post Body

Just wondering if anyone else is embarrassed to constantly be delivering melted Hello Fresh, leaking bleach(and other stuff that stinks), torn up irregulars, other packages that get smooshed by irrregulars, and, of course, the ubiquitous Amazon packages that are smooshed because they are a)in box that is too big, and b)because Amazon’s tape sucks? Except for the last one, most of these problems are caused by preloaders who are making $21/hour, and getting free health care, but don’t give a crap. The problem is worse on Saturdays and after holidays. Can this problem be solved? I know FedEx does a lot of dumb stuff, and breaks all the rules we have to follow, but it seems their packages are mostly in one piece and not squashed.

I don’t deliver clearly damaged pkgs. I’ll tape em up if that’s what it needs, but if it’s leaking or the contents are clearly damaged I bring it to the clerks at night. We don’t deliver those meal kits in my area so I’m not sure about those.
