So I am starting an internship today (I know it's too late to save today), and the company hiring me was shipping me a computer since I am remote working. It was originally supposed to come on 6/2, sometime at night but they actually showed up in the morning when I had an appointment so I couldn't be there to sign for it.

After this, I went to the tracking and changed the delivery to be a pickup location that's down the street from me so I didn't have to fiddle with trying to be available 24/7 for this package... But since then it seems the package has vanished into thin air. I get the " The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible." status on the UPS tracking, and the pickup center says they have no information on the location of my package.

Is there anything I can do? Like at all? Or do I just accept that UPS lost my work laptop and I need to figure something out with my employer? Sorry idk if this is a common question or anything but this s*it has me having an anxiety attack at 7am. Any help is appreciated
